service started in the Fall of 2006 by Jill Starishevsk, a nine-year veteran of

Sex Crimes Bureau. While she was on
maternity leave of her second child, she started this wonderful website.
It is a service that provides license plates for strollers with a unique
identifying number on them so if your nanny is out and about and does something
bad to the baby or something praiseworthy, a passerby can get a message to the
parent via the internet.

has received a great deal of press including Good Morning America, CNN, The BBC
and Fox News National. Please spread the words about this as the more people who
know about the site, the more likely a mom or dad is to receive a report if

with the National Network to End Domestic Violence Fund

America’s high school teens report parental inattention to what they
consider to be key transitions during their adolescence, according to a new
SAAD.org &
LibertyMutualInsurance.com study released. The study suggests that
this lack of timely parental involvement in important “rites of passage”
comes with a high price tag: the potential for dangerous behaviors that can
lead to illness, injury, or death as teens seek alternative milestones to
demonstrate growing maturity and independence.

- In her photo documentary, Adopting Motherhood: Families Brought
Together by Single Adoption, Elena Rue the shows the happy, sad,
frustrating, and heartwarming moments that go along with single parenting.
In this body of work Rue focuses on a community of women in New England who
have decided to adopt children both from the United States and abroad. Many
of them are active in an organization called SPACE (Single Parents Adopting
Children from Everywhere) and garner a lot of their support from fellow
adoptive parents.

program offered by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically
Handicapped (NLS), Library of Congress, helps provide eligible students with
the reading materials they need to succeed. For blind and physically
handicapped people, this nationwide
program delivers classic literature, bestsellers and many magazines to keep
them up to speed and on top of their studies. For

free method of providing the best and most comfortable living situation they
