Changing Jobs

Don’t let the struggling economy hinder you from starting your own business. Sure I know, you barely have enough money for food and the other necessities, where am I going to come up with money for a home based business? Well, the answer, may be right there where you are standing. You could start up your own Home Childcare Business. While many families are struggling just to put food on their tables too, they still need affordable childcare.

Maybe you are tired of the rat race and commute to your job. With these rising gasoline prices, you couldn’t pick a better time, to have a home based business. This is just food for thought. You already are a mother, so you are well aware of watching children, requires love, patience and compassion.

The first step is to find out in your city when and where the orientation meetings take place. This is usually found through a child care resource and referral agency. Becoming a Licensed child care provider gives you more flexibility with your own family. First off, you don’t have to pay for childcare. You can throw a load of laundry in at nap-time, and prepare a meal ahead of time, for your family’s dinner. You can choose the hours you do business and you set your own rates. Of course you want to check out other Providers in your area and see what is comparable.

A new direction might be just what you need. You can work full time, attend night classes and because you work at home, you are able to spend more time with your kids. It’s very true childcare is not for everyone. You need to have the right disposition, and planning and organization, but this is your own business. Parents rely on you, trust you and want to have faith in you. Think about how you would feel leaving your child everyday? A loving, nurturing and compassionate provider is the answer to any parents concerns. When I was in this business, my favorite compliment, was when parents would tell me how safe, secure, and trusted they felt leaving their child with me, that is the key to success. Then parents tell other families, and in this business, word of mouth is the best way to advertise. Where there is a parents trust, others will follow.
