Kristy CastoHello! I’m Kristy Casto, a full time Respiratory therapist pursuing my Masters in Nursing and most importantly, a single mother to two of the most wonderful little kids in the universe!

Like most of you, I never imagined I’d end up being a single mother. The last few years since my divorce have changed me for the better. I was a very reserved, unconfident and scared little girl. Now I’m a driven, very confident and passionate woman with big dreams! I’ve learned a lot as a single mother and I’ve had a lot of experience dealing with the hard situations that come along with being a single mom. I decided that I’d had enough with being sad. I learned to love myself and to no longer blame myself for my situation. Being a single mom isn’t the end of the world. In many ways, it’s just the beginning.

My mission now is to help other single moms by sharing the insight that I’ve gained. I started my own blog and website to support single moms and although I plan on writing a series of books soon about self-empowerment after divorce. I’ve quickly learned that I’m very passionate about helping others through writing and I plan on doing it for a very long time.
