The mixture will need to be poured into the drain and then allow about an hour before you check to see if the pipe that unclogged. The vinegar also helps in killing off germs in the drain pipe and this is an added advantage of course.
  • Washing soda – Another very effective remedy for clogged drains is washing soda. Since the ph value of washing soda is much higher than baking soda, this tends to work even in cases of hair clogs and other such serious drain blocks. Washing soda is very effective in maintaining clean pipes too. So a cup of washing soda poured down your pipes every month will keeps clogs at bay.
