The National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF) is the leading scholarship provider for the restaurant and food service industry. Our goal is to award scholarships to motivated individuals who are committed to furthering their education and succeeding in the restaurant and food service industry.
And this investment is paying off! A recent NRAEF five-year impact study revealed that 81 percent of NRAEF Scholarship recipients are still studying or working in the industry.
Funded through generous donations from the restaurant and food service industry, the NRAEF has awarded more than $11 million dollars in merit-based scholarships to students and educators since 1987.
Student scholarships start at $2,500 and educators receive $1,750 scholarships.
The NRAEF understands the importance of scholarships and supporting students and educators. We offer a variety of merit-based scholarships to students who want an education and a career in the food service industry as well as professional development scholarships for restaurant and food service educators.
