Scholarship LouisianaLouisiana State Department of Education/Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship-Louisiana

Applicant must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) in Louisiana in the same academic year in which the scholarship is to be awarded. Minimum 3.5 GPA and an ACT composite score of 23 or SAT critical reading and math score of 970. Must be a U.S. citizen and legal resident of Louisiana. Total number of awards vary each year.

Award Information:

  • Application Deadline     March 10
  • Available to Class Level     Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
  • Renewable

Eligibility Information:

  • Minimum GPA Required     3.5
  • Residency     Louisiana
  • Financial Need     Financial need analysis is not required
