You must:

• be a female who has demonstrated an understanding of the value of giving your time and talent to help others;
• have verifiable community service;
• submit at least one (1) reference from an individual who can attest to your commitment to helping others;
• submit an essay (minimum of 500 words) describing how your pursuit of a college education will assist you in achieving your personal goals and becoming a productive citizen committed to your community;
• be accepted to and attend a 2- or 4- year college or university in Maryland;
• and demonstrate financial need.

Award Information:

• Award Amount     $1,500 – $10,000
• Application Deadline     March 1
• Available to Class Level     Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
• Renewable

Eligibility Information:

• Residency     Maryland
• Gender     Female
• Location of College     Maryland
• Area of Study     None specified
• Financial need analysis is not required
