If the clothes are washed in the washer, make sure you follow the instructions for specific washer and dryer setting. It is also important to use softeners when cleaning your woolens since these garments will become very rough if you wash them with ordinary detergents.
- Dry properly - Warm garments demand proper drying. A higher temperature will damage the fibers, and the clothes will lose their shape and become useless. So if you wash sweaters at home, do not wring them, do not drip dry them, instead dry them by laying them on a flat surface. For jackets, which cannot be dried in the dryer, it is best to dry them on a hanger so that their shape is retained. Warm clothes will often lose their shape quickly and this is the reason why it is important to dry them with extra care.
