YourRxCard is a free prescription drug savings program, designed to give Americans, particularly those with limited or no prescription insurance coverage, access to discounts for their medication. All participants of the YourRxCard program will have the opportunity to learn more about their purchasing options and the discounts available to them for their prescription drugs
YourRxCard, the company providing this program to all Americans, negotiates discounts directly with the pharmacies on over 20,000 name and generic brand drugs. These discounts are then passed directly on to cardholders.
The discounted price may vary by as much as 75% depending on the drug and the pharmacy discount rate contracted with YourRxCard. While pharmacy prices may vary from week-to-week and by the geographic location, the patient is guaranteed the lowest price available regardless of whether it is the YourRxCard price, your present insurance program’s price, or the pharmacy’s already discounted price.
The YourRxCard Program covers all FDA approved brand name and generic prescription medications.
YourRxCard is valid at all major chain pharmacies and a majority of independent pharmacies. The pharmacy network is constantly expanding, and a list of participating pharmacies can be found here.
The YourRxCard Program is absolutely FREE. There are no premiums or deductibles associated with this program whatsoever.
How do I use the Prescription Discount Card?
- Select a pharmacy: YourRxCard is valid at over 56,000 network pharmacy locations nationwide. In most cases, your current pharmacy will be part of our network. However, if they are not, we have made it very easy for pharmacies to join.
- Submit your prescription: Present your prescription to the pharmacist. If you need to transfer a prescription, bring your empty prescription bottle or label with you to the pharmacy.
- Present YourRxCard: Your card’s unique code provides the pharmacist with the appropriately discounted prescription price. The price on the prescription is based on the pharmacy’s contracted agreement with YourRxCard.
- You Save: Your savings will be clear once the pharmacist enters your filled prescription into the register. Whether the lowest discount price is the YourRxCard price, your present insurance program’s price, or the pharmacy’s already discounted price, you are GUARANTEED to receive the LOWEST price available!
Membership to the YourRxCard Program has no requirements. Unlike insurance programs, there is no income, age, pre-existing condition, deductible, or waiting period restrictions. The program is designed to help patients nationwide who do not have prescription drug coverage or who have coverage but are subject to large deductibles, large co-pays, formulary limitations, dosing limitations, gaps, and/or any cash out-of-pocket expenses.
Once your card is created you simply print out the card page and bring the printed page with you to the pharmacy. Once at the pharmacy please present them with the printed page. The card has your static identification number along with all of the PBM required pharmacy numbers. Your pharmacy will input your information into the computer where your permanent records will be kept. Once the information has been stored by your pharmacy you no longer need the card because your records are in the Pharmacy’s computer. Each time you return to the pharmacy you will get the plan’s appropriate discount. Store your card/printed page in a safe place. You are required to pay the pharmacy in full for your discounted price.
Does every member of my family need a card?
Yes, each family member needs to go back to the website and create a new card for each member of the family. However, other family members and friends may use your discount coupon card.
